Printing Technology

Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) is used for implementation. FDM works by expelling a plastic fiber layer-by-layer onto the stage which involves melting, extruding and depositing filament.

Printing Capability

Capable of printing large format 3D parts with build-volume of 1000mm x 1000mm x 1000mm (Length x Width x Height).

Printing Materials

Able to print parts from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Nylon, Polylactic Acid (PLA) Polyethylene and Terephthalate Glycol (PETG).

Astroprint API

Built-in Astroprint API provided support for slicing 3D models and generate G-code files according to selected firmware by users.

Cloud Functionality

G-code file uploading system ables to access 3D printer and gives printing commands to printer.

ASTROPRINT API

Slicing Support

This API allows users to inject 3D model files (STL or ZIP) into their AstroPrint's accounts and provide slicing support for generating G-code.
